coparent.now
TalkingParents Alternative

Free forever messaging without annual lock-in or double billing.

TalkingParents’ pricing page says that, as of March 30, 2026, a paid subscription is required to use the app. coparent.now takes the opposite entry point: message free forever, upgrade only for records, files, scheduling, or office workflows.

What changed

TalkingParents’ own July 2025 release still described a free website plan. Its current pricing page now shows Essentials at $7 per month, Enhanced at $16 per month, and Ultimate at $32 per month, with March 30, 2026 as the verified comparison date to use.

What coparent.now does differently
  • Free forever 1:1 co-parent messaging
  • Browser-first and installable as a PWA
  • No AI coaching layer
  • No double billing both parents separately
  • Pay only when someone needs records, files, scheduling, or office tools
Records and fees

TalkingParents’ terms also state that fee waivers are discretionary and temporary, and they do not cover optional services like exports, printed or certified records, or transaction fees. coparent.now keeps raw TXT and CSV export on the free plan and charges later only for polished records packages and heavier workflows.

Important boundary

coparent.now is not making an exclusivity claim around free tiers. BestInterest still allows free messaging, and Truece still has a free tier. The win is narrower and stronger: the simplest free secure co-parent messenger in the browser, with paid upgrades only around records, files, scheduling, and office workflows.
